ProPowder™
Product Range
ProPowders™ vs Liquids?
- ProPowders™ can be mixed together as a “dry pre-mix”, then stored until required. This simplifies dosing. It also reduces human error and recipe theft when performed by trusted staff
- 5x more compact and 7x lighter
- Dropship by air world-wide
- Minimal waste packaging
ProPowders™ vs AB Powders?
- Contains both mineral nutrients and ‘extracted’ organics
- Dissolves within minutes, even in cold or hard water
- Ideal for auto-dosers - stock is stable for 6 months plus
- Healthier roots and foliage and thicker stems
- Faster bud onset plus more bud sites and stacking
- Better bag appeal, flavor and potency
ProPowder™ 'Dry Pre-Mix' makes dosing so easy
ProPowders are extremely easy to use especially when dosing dry to reservoir as a 'dry pre-mix'.
01
Equipment
Start with a suitable* set of scales, a measuring cup and an air-tight jar. Place the measuring cup on the scales then “tare” (or zero) it off.
02
Calculate
Refer to the feed chart and determine the required weight of each product for the reservoir size. For example, Veg-1 Wk-1 for 100L reservoir requires 110g.
03
Measure
Carefully measure out the Veg-1 dose then dump this into the jar. Repeat this step with the remaining ProPowder additives until the jar contains a “dry pre-mix” customised for the week and reservoir volume.
04
Mix
Tip this dry pre-mix into the reservoir and activate the mixing pump until fully dissolved. Add any other required additives then check and adjust pH. If the dry pre-mix is not being used immediately, ensure it is kept tightly sealed and labelled appropriately eg. Veg-1 Wk-1 (100L Res).
100% Soluble
Within Minutes
ProPowder™ stock solutions will dissolve in cold or hard water within minutes. High solubility reduces blockages, clean-up and the need for warm RO water. Stock is stable for at least 6 months, which is ideal for auto-dosers and drippers.
What's the Simplest Way to Use ProPowders™ ?
ProPowders are extremely easy to use especially when dosing dry to reservoir as a 'dry pre-mix'.
1
Equipment
Start with a suitable* set of scales, a measuring cup and an air-tight container. Place the measuring cup on the scales then “tare” (or zero) it off.
2
Calculate
Refer to the feed chart and determine the required weight of each product for the reservoir size. For example, Veg-1 Wk-1 for 100L reservoir requires 110g.
3
Measure
Carefully measure out the Veg-1 dose then dump this into the container. Repeat this step with the remaining ProPowder additives until the container contains a “dry pre-mix” customised for the week and reservoir volume.
4
ProPowders™ FAQ's & Directions
Do ProPowders™ outperform the FloraMax liquid version?
How easily do ProPowders™ dissolve?
ProPowders™ are highly soluble compared to many powder formulations. In fact, they remain highly soluble even in hard, cold water – see chart below. They do NOT require RO water or warm water.
How much nutrient do the ProPowders™ make?
The weight of ProPowder™ bags are configured to create a specific volume of stock concentrate. For example, the Veg-1, 215g bag makes 1L of liquid stock (stock concentrate), or 180L of nutrient solution (working nutrient).
How do I dose with ProPowder™ ?
- Add dry powder directly to the reservoir, either individually or as a dry pre-mix. See Dose Chart ProPowders™.
- Stock Concentrate made from the powder – See Dose Chart Liquids. Dosing can be done manually or via auto-dosers
Is there a ProPowder™ Kit, or Starter Kit?
There are two ProPowder™ Kits. These are compact and light and can be air-freighted to most destinations within 1-2 weeks.
Both kits are configured for 4-weeks of veg and 8-weeks of flower. They contain Veg-1 and the 4-core additives (Root-XS, OrganaBud, Flowering Enhancer and Resin-XS).
- 5-Plant Kit : Produces 65L (17 Gal) of working nutrient per week e.g. Feeds 5 x 10L coco pots with 1.9L per day.
- 20-Plant Kit : Produces 265L (70 Gal) of working nutrient per week e.g. Feeds 20 x 10L coco pots with 1.9L per day.
Can I use a part-bag of ProPowder™, or does a whole bag need to be used?
ProPowders™ are ‘homogenous’ which enables part bags to be used without affecting plant performance or reservoir stability.
What type of weighing scale do I need to use?
Measure powder dose rates using weight scales. Measuring by volume (ml or tsp) is inaccurate.
For reservoirs ranging from 10L–1,000L, the optimum scales are 3kg with a resolution of +/- 0.1g ie. typically termed 3kg x 0.1g.
What is the shelf-life of liquid stock made from ProPowder™?
Liquid stock generally lasts 6 months or longer. For best results, add 1ml/L System Maintenance and store below 25°C (77°F) in dark or opaque containers away from direct sunlight.
Can I combine the FloraMax liquid version and ProPowder™ in the same reservoir?
Yes, liquid and powder can be used interchangeably. For dose rates, simply refer to the corresponding dose chart. For example, if using the FloraMax liquid dose chart, but want to use Resin-XS ‘powder’’, simply replace the Resin-XS liquid rates with those from the FloraMax ProPowder™ dose chart. Also, for a given product, you can dose using a combination of liquid version and powder in the same reservoir.
Can Stock Concentrate from ProPowder™ be blended ‘neat' with the equivalent FloraMax liquid version?
Do NOT combine a Stock Concentrate with the equivalent FloraMax liquid version when in concentrated form.
Why does the FloraMax liquid version have a different NPK than the powder?
The reason for the large difference between their NPK specification and Guaranteed Analysis is that the powder contains no water and is therefore more concentrated. This makes the powder far easier to transport and store.
